A crane unloaded the two disc dryers from the heavy load transporters on site and lifted them directly into the building onto the prepared level. [...]We are deeply saddened to announce that our former shareholder, managing director and supervisory board chairman Mr. Karl-Josef Huber passed away after a long and serious illness on Friday, 24th June 2016, at the age of 69. [...]Project Profile Buxton STW serves the town of Buxton and its surrounding areas, HUBER had been involved in the site since 2003 when a major upgrade was carried out the inlet works and a subsequent MBR plant was installed downstream. Since this project HUBER had been regularly engaged to look at improving the effectiveness of the inlet works and screenings handling plant to improve the screenings removal to lessen the impact on the downstream equipment, there were challenges surrounding this due to the location of the existing screens and macerator setup.
