[...]Project Profile Buxton STW serves the town of Buxton and its surrounding areas, HUBER had been involved in the site since 2003 when a major upgrade was carried out the inlet works and a subsequent MBR plant was installed downstream. Since this project HUBER had been regularly engaged to look at improving the effectiveness of the inlet works and screenings handling plant to improve the screenings removal to lessen the impact on the downstream equipment, there were challenges surrounding this due to the location of the existing screens and macerator setup.
